Miguel Cabrera was coming off back-to-back MVP seasons when he wore this Tigers bench jacket. This is the road version of the team's bench jacket as it boasts the orange "D" on the left chest of the Tigers navy blue body. This heavy jacket, perfect for the cold spring and fall ballgames, has a Majestic size XXL tag in the collar along with MLB hologram HZ313892. A navy strip tag with Cabrera's number "24" in white is added to both the inner and outer collar. Since an MLB rep did not see Cabrera take the jacket off in person it is in their records as "team issued" - however, Tigers equipment manager Jim Schmakel has added the initials JSG in black marker to the collar tag. Meaning "Jim Schmakel Game Used" the equipment manager added these initials to an item only when he knew it had been worn by the player.
