Though he has seen sporadic action in his brief three years in the Major Leagues, Avisail is considered one of the bright young prospects in the Chicago Detroit Tigers’ organization. This ball was used in the hulking outfielder’s first MLB at bat, on September 1, 2012 against Chicago White Sox hurler Francisco Liriano. This Official Major League (Selig) ball, which is autographed in clear blue ballpoint ink on the sweet spot, was foul tipped in an at-bat that eventually saw Garcia draw a walk. He had his first career hit later in the contest, in a 5-1 Tigers victory.
