The Yankees christened their new ballpark in true pinstripe fashion by winning 103 games and claiming their 27th World Championship by defeating the Phillies in six games. This Rawlings Official 2009 World Series ball carries the game's gold stamped logo and has been signed by 29 members of the World Champs. Included on the ball is skipper Joe Girardi along with Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixeira, Hideki Matsui, and of course The Captain, Derek Jeter.
