After too many dramatic Yankees comebacks, Randy Johnson finally put the brakes on what looked to be a Diamondbacks disaster. Arizona jumped all over Andy Pettitte scoring 15 runs, the most inflicted on the Yankees in World Series play. Randy Johnson displayed Hall of Fame stuff and handcuffed the New York bats forcing a Game 7. This Rawlings ball was used by Johnson during that pivotal Game 6. It carries the gold stamped 2001 World Series logo and has been signed in blue ballpoint by Arizona's ace left-hander. The ball shows terrific game use and the signature grades in the 6/10 range. The ball comes with a signed card from Ralph Nelson Major League Vice President of Umpiring stating that the ball was thrown by Johnson in Game 6 of the series and that he had the pitcher sign the ball. Ralph Nelson further states that he added the notation "Game 6" to the ball. Certificate of Authenticity X90304 from PSA/DNA.
