All-Star first baseman Steve Garvey used this size 44 N.A. Goodman & Sons knit home white Dodgers jersey during the 1981 Major League season as the Dodgers won the World Series in six games over the New York Yankees. This button down jersey features "Dodgers" in script diagonally upward across the front of the jersey in blue tackle twill along with Garvey's "6" sewn on in red on the right front. The back of the jersey has "GARVEY" sewn directly to the jersey and his number "6" in blue. There is a "Bicentennial Patch" for the city of Los Angeles on the left sleeve. Garvey signed and inscribed this jersey "1981 Jersey World Series Year L.A. 4 - N.Y 2" in black marker below the red "6" on the front of the jersey. This item comes with a full LOA from Mears, who have rated this jersey a perfect A-10 and a full LOA from PSA/DNA (V13666).
