The '47 Blues included such notable major-leaguers as Hank Bauer, Tommy Byrne, Jerry Coleman, Harry Craft and Ken Silvestri. This 10K-gold, size 10 ring features a blue stone and exhibits NM condition. It comes with a 2003 purchase LOA and a 2003 signed LOA from team staff member Herman Krattenmaker, stating, "I, Herman Krattenmaker, was associated with the New York Yankees minor league organization from 1947 through 1958. I worked for Kansas City from 1947-1949. After that, I worked for the Quincy Gems from 1950-1953, the Binghamton Triplets from 1954-1955, and the Richmond Virginians from 1956-1958. I attended World Series games during those years. I do attest that this is a 1947 minor league championship ring that was awarded to me when I was with the Kansas City Blues."
