This program from the 1916 World Series played between the Boston Red Sox and the Brooklyn Dodgers features Dodgers manager Wilbert Robinson on the front cover. Inside are a pair of scorecards that have not been filled out and there are large team photographs of both clubs players. Sitting front and center of his teams photograph we see then pitcher Babe Ruth for the Boston Red Sox. In Game 2 of the series Ruth pitched thirteen shutout innings, Ruth also had an RBI in the bottom of the third and he would go on to win the game for the Red Sox. The Red Sox would go on to defeat the Dodgers 4 games to 1 to win the 1916 World Series. Note: The cover from this program is loose from its binding and there is some discoloration along the edges but the program is in VG-EX condition otherwise with all pages present. The scorecard remains unscored.
