The New York Yankees defeated the over matched Chicago Cubs in the four games of the 1938 World Series which gave the Bombers their third consecutive World Series championship. This scored program from the final game, October 9, 1938 in New York is in excellent condition with some moderate wear to spine edge, but entire spine is intact. The top right of the corner is marked in pencil “Oct. 9 – game 4 N.Y. 8 Cubs 3”.
