This program from the 1948 World Series played between the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Braves features a gray and red cover with a totem pole standing tall in the center of Cleveland Stadium with the Indians team logo at its top. This wonderfully laid out program in good condition features a very large Indians team photograph in its center as well as numerous photographs of both ball clubs players alongside various statistics and team introductions. The Scorecards inside this program are not filled out. This World Series was the first to be televised nationally, and featured future Hall of Fame players Satchel Paige, Bob Feller, Larry Doby, and Warren Spahn amongst others. The Indians despite star pitcher Bob Feller failing to win either of his two starts defeated the Braves 4 games to 2, to win the 1948 World Series.
