He has dated the top, “June 1 – 1944” and added the inscription “Yours Truly from,” along with “Peoli,” after his signature, indicating his home town in Ohio. The reverse bears the postmark of Newcomerstone, Ohio, is dated June 2, and is addressed to a Dr. John Davis of Topeka, Kansas.
