Fresh off their thrilling 1986 World Series title, the 1987 New York Mets amassed 92 wins but it was not enough to qualify for the playoffs and defend their title. Though this Rawlings Official World Series (Ueberroth) ball is actually from the ’86 series, the signatures themselves date from the 1987 squad. Included in the list is Hall of Famer Gary Carter, along with teammates Dwight Gooden, Ron Darling, Keith Hernandez, and Darryl Strawberry. Some fading is evident on the ball as well as the blue ballpoint pen signatures. Comes with PSA DNA Letter of Authenticity.
