Named in honor of being the fiftieth State, the elite Five-0 unit kept Hawaii a crime-free island paradise. Combined with the timeless opening credits and theme song, Hawaii Five-0 earned its place as one of the most popular shows of TV's Golden Age. The television show ran from 1968 to 1980 and usually ended with Jack Lord as Captain Steve McGarrett flashing his gold badge and commanding officer Danny Williams to "Book 'em Danno!". This here is a part of TV history, McGarrett's iconic gold Five-0 badge. The gold badge features the seal of Hawaii surrounded by "INVESTIGATOR" and "FIVE-O UNIT". The reverse of the badge has the stamp of the manufacturer, "Sun Badge Co L.A. County". This piece of TV history has been mounted in a 6" x 8" x 3" frame along with a prop Steve McGarrett business card.
