“Big Papi” David Ortiz hit 41 home runs with 139 RBI and a .301 batting average to lead the Boston Red Sox to their first World Championship since 1918. Used during that 2004 season, Ortiz’s Louisville Slugger O76 model bat displays evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack secured with black tape. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are found on the barrel as well as cleat marks. The handle has been taped to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar coats the handle. A great stick used to bring Boston their first World Championship in nine decades. Letter of Authenticity (C86059) from PSA/DNA.
