Nobody did more to win the 1999 World Series for the Yankees than Chuck Knoblauch. In the pivotal Game 3 he hit an 8th inning two-run homer to tie the game that was won by New York in extra innings. The Louisville Slugger T141 bat used during the ’99 season exhibits heavy use with a handle crack. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are visible on the barrel along with cleat imprints and blue ink transfers. A heavy coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle and center brand and Knoblauch’s number “11” is written on both the knob and barrel end in black marker. Knoblauch has signed the barrel in silver marker and added his number “11”. Letter of Authenticity (1B08509) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 9.5.
