He finished out 2012 by leading both leagues in hits (216) and passed Willie Mays to advance to number 10 on the career base hits leaders list. This signed, game-used 34-inch Louisville Slugger P72 bat comes from a 2012 season that saw Jeter post an MLB-high 216 hits. The Louisville Slugger P72 shows excellent use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks with stich impressions seen on the bat’s barrel along with the impression from a weighted batting donut. There s a light coat of pine tar on the handle and the date of manufacture “1/27/2011”, length “34.0” and weight “32.0” are stamped into the knob. The future Hall of Famer has signed the bat’s barrel in silver pen making this a complete Derek Jeter Gamer. Letter of Authenticity 1B07852 from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.
