Having spent over half a century employed by the Bronx Bombers, Phil Rizzuto reserves a special place in the hearts of New York sports fans. The Scooter signed this Official American League (Budig) baseball in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot. Along with his uniform “#10,” the Hall of Fame Shortstop added in his own hand, “N.Y. Yankees – Named to 5 All Star Teams.” He spent all 13 of his Major League years patrolling the shortstop slot in the Bronx, before embarking on a broadcasting career that spanned 40 seasons.
