A three-time World Series winner with the Boston Red Sox, David Ortiz used this signed Louisville Slugger C243 model bat during a 2004 title year that saw the franchise end its 86-year championship drought. Ortiz hit .301 with 41 home runs and 139 RBI in 2004, his first year as an All-Star in the league. The un-cracked bat shows light evidence of game use and features Ortiz’s signature on the barrel, while his number “34” is written on both the knob and the top of the barrel. The game-used natural finish beech wood bat measures 34 3/8 inches and weighs in at 31.8 ounces. The Ortiz game-used bat is accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “1B09593.”
