Graded 88 NM/MT 8 by SGC. This is one of two examples at its tier (with none graded higher) among a total of 65 copies recorded in SGC's census reporting. The 1911 Sporting Life card set pictures the photographic portraits of Carl Horner. Horner's portrait of Honus is, of course, one of the most recognizable images in baseball and was used as the basis for the famous T206 Wagner card. The offered card has a gorgeous image of Wagner and boasts extremely bold colors. Here's a superbly rendered incarnation of its delicate design - with all of its physical subtleties intact - is well-worthy of inclusion in the finest assembly. Clean "300 Subjects" back. Incredible Near Mint to Mint condition.
