In 1933 the Goudey Gum Company created the first baseball cards to be issued with gum in each pack and the initial set remains one of the most sought after by collectors. This colorful 8” x 11.5” 12-card sheet is from the company’s second set of 96 cards issued in 1934 and includes the images of Hall of Famers, Bill Terry, Roebrt (Lefty) Grove, Jimmy Foxx, Gordon (Mickey) Cochrane, Frank Frisch and Carl Hubbell as well as Joe Kuhel, Willie Kam, Alvin Crowder, Frank Hogan, Floyd Vaughan and Hugh Critz. The sheet is in good condition with only slight wrinkling and water spots, all of the writing on the back of the cards is clearly legible and the sheet is contained in a 16.5” x 20” dual-paned window frame.
