He is an Academy Award winner who also had a noted military career rising to the rank of Brigadier General in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Ginger Rogers was a multi-talented actress and beauty who helped popularize the musical genre in Hollywood films. Rogers won the Academy Award for Best Actress for he role in Kitty Foyle.
