Fred Astaire was a man of many talents. He was best known as an actor, singer, and dancer. He starred in many Hollywood films and television specials and won numerous awards including multiple Golden Globes, Emmy’s and Grammy’s. He was named the fifth greatest male star of all time by the American Film Institute and he co-starred with his dancing partner and on-screen love interest Ginger Rogers in ten Hollywood musicals. Ginger Rogers was an actress and dancer who is a legend in her own right. She along with Astaire helped transform the genre of musical films and she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Kitty Foyle. This 8x10 photograph of the pair is signed in black ink by both actors in what appears to be a dinner scene from one of their ever entertaining movies which they co-starred in.
