Hollywood actor and noted playboy Errol Flynn was by most accounts an overnight sensation who was often type-casted in the role of a swashbuckler. He starred in notable films such as, Captain Blood and The Adventures of Robin Hood. Flynn showed a broad acting range beyond his sword fighting action-adventure movies as he starred in both contemporary social comedies and melodramas which he excelled in.
