Though his playing career was long since over, Tom Seaver always had a place in the hearts of New York Mets fans. In 1999, Tom Terrific graced a Mets uniform for the first time in over a decade, serving as an assistant in helping with the team’s pitching staff. This road gray AIS top has tags sewn inside the front tail indicating the year (99) and size 50. Classic Olde English style lettering spells out “NEW YORK” above the iconic number 41 on front, and the letters of the Hall of Famer’s name are individually stitched above the number on back. Not an easy jersey to find in any condition, this item comes with a full LOA from noted game-used expert Dave Miedema.
