Evander Holyfield known to boxing fans around the world as, “The Real Deal Holyfield,” is a former Undisputed Champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. Holyfield started boxing as a child taking lessons and competing in amateur competitions eventually reaching the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles. Holyfield turned professional after the Olympics and became the only American professional boxer to win the Heavyweight Championship four separate times eclipsing the record set by Muhammad Ali who won it three times. Holyfield vs. Tyson II in 1997 saw a rematch from the year prior in which Holyfield defeated Tyson in the 11th round by way of TKO. During the rematch Tyson, in one of the more bizarre moments in boxing history, bit the ear of Holyfield twice which led to Tyson being disqualified. This pair of black Nike Training shoes size 12.5 are both signed on the Nike logo in black sharpie marker and inscribed is, “2 (Corinthians) 5:7.” The shoes each feature the letter “E” sewn in white on a black patch at the top of the tongue of the shoe.
