Early in the last of his 23 seasons patrolling Fenway Park, Carl Yastrzemski sent this Official American League (MacPhail) ball out for career hit #3,326. Yaz signed this keepsake in flowing ballpoint pen, and an unknown hand added the inscription “Fenway Park #3326 4-18-83.” The hit came off Brewers starter Don Sutton in the Sox 15-0 victory, and the Hall of Famer would eventually end his storied career with 3,419 base knocks.
