In a series that was originally called the "Battle of the Bay," the 1989 fall classic pitted the Oakland A’s against the San Francisco Giants. Unfortunately, it is most remembered for the earthquake that shook the ground beneath the two teams on the field at Candlestick Park. on October 17th. The damaging quake postponed the World Series for ten days, after which the A's defeated the Giants to take the crown. The chair offered here was used during that historic series and has a blue metal frame with blue seat cushion with a white cushioned back. The back padding displays the "1989 World Series" logo and signatures in black fiber tip marker adorn both back and seat padding. Comes with JSA LOA.
