Look closely and the game comes to life. The year is 1961. Yankees vs. Red Sox. Mantle departs the batter’s box after one of his 54 home-run blasts, as players and fans alike follow the ball’s scoreboard-bound trajectory. Meanwhile, Maris trots to third and Berra crouches in the on-deck circle. Stadium dimensions, iconic frieze façade, outfield advertising, New York skyline—all are rendered with painstaking attention to detail for this ultimate tribute to Baseball’s Cathedral.
