San Francisco quarterback Steve Young officially stepped out from behind Joe Montana’s shadow in Super Bowl XXIX when he directed the 49ers past the San Diego Chargers in a 49-26 victory that earned him MVP honors. Young threw for an incredible 325 yards and six touchdowns in the contest. Young signed this game-used football from Super Bowl XXIX prominently in bold, silver sharpie along with the inscription “MVP 1/29/95.” The Wilson football features a branded “SUPER BOWL XXIX” logo on one side and “San Francisco 49ERS vs. San Diego Chargers, Miami, FL – January 29, 1995” on the other. The signed, game-used football comes with a 49ers COA and PSA/DNA LOA.
