Famed artists Andy Warhol and Jamie Wyeth have signed the front panel of this bi-fold invitation to the July 12, 1980 preview of an exhibition of Andy Warhol and Jamie Wyeth (son of Andrew Wyeth and grandson of N.C. Wyeth) portraits hosted by The Coe Kerr Gallery in association with the Societe’ des Baines de Mer at the Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, Monaco. Five other signors have signed on the inside including Sylvester Stallone. In 1976, pop icon Andy Warhol and realist painter Jamie Wyeth had presented their portraits painted of each other at the New York gallery of Coe Kerr Gallery to such critical acclaim that in this historical exhibit, a selection of their significant and recent works were being presented together for the very first time outside of the United States.
