New York Mets star pitcher and Hall of Famer Tom Seaver has signed this official New York license plate in blue sharpie pen. This is the ultimate license plate for a serious New York Mets fan. The lettering NEW YORK 1969 METS is signed by Tom Seaver, nicknamed “The Franchise”. 1969, the year the team became known as “The Miracle Mets” was led by pitching ace Tom Seaver who went 25-7 with a 2.08 ERA. There were many players who helped lead the New York Mets to a World Championship in 1969 but none more so than “Tom Terrific”. The license is accompanied with the original envelope from the Department of Motor Vehicles of New York State.
