After earning their slot in the 2014 playoffs as the Wild Card team, the San Francisco Giants got hot when it counted, capturing their second World Series title in the previous three years and third in the past five. Pablo Sandoval was a large part of that success, and this road gray Giants polyester top was worn by “The Panda” during his team’s four game victory over Washington in the NLDS. The Majestic MLB Authentic top is button-front with “San Francisco” extending across the chest in black letters with orange trim. The size 52 top displace nice game use, has a Giants patch on the left sleeve and an MLB “PostSeason ‘14” patch on the opposite side, and Sandoval has signed on his number 48 in silver Sharpie below his name on the back. Please note – this jersey is MLB authenticated and Sandoval’s signature includes “Game Used NLDS 2014” verifying its provenance, however the MLB database lists this top as being from Game 3, which is not possible as the Giants were home for that contest. Our analysis indicates that it is most likely from Game 1 of that series, a 3-2 Giants victory on October 3.
