Already considered one of the best goalkeepers to ever don the Team USA jersey, Tim Howard cemented his case with an amazing 16-save performance in a 2-1 loss to Belgium in the 2014 World Cup. Howard signed three items in this lot, one of which is a replica black jersey of the kind he wore during that historic game. The black Nike top includes embroidered US Soccer patch sewn on the left breast, and is signed in silver Sharpie along with “16 Saves vs. Belgium” and “USA 1.” The purple Team USA top also has hang tags and this shirt includes uniform number “1” on front and back, along with US Soccer patch and Howard’s name stitched on back. He has signed across the number on back in black Sharpie. Finally, a brand new Nike Tiempo soccer cleat (left only), black with bright yellow-green lining, signed across the toe in silver Sharpie by the net minder. Each item is individually authenticated by JSA.
