One of the NBA’s top talents, Golden State Warriors two time All-Star Point Guard Stephen Curry is one of the league’s best shooters. Drafted 7th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft he was unanimously named as a First Team All-Rookie selection. He was a member of USA Men’s Basketball Senior National Team that won Gold Medals at the FIBA World Championships in both 2010 and 2014. Known for his philanthropic work, Curry is one of the most active players in terms of community relations. He is involved in several charities and works closely with the United Nations Foundation’s “Nothing But Net” campaign which helps prevent the spread of malaria in Africa. Stephen Curry, along with teammate Klay Thompson are known as the “Splash Brothers,” for their high scoring play on the court and for being excellent long range shooters.
