Few items in college football iconography carry the significance of the simple gold helmet traditionally worn by the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. This official model Schutt helmet has a full face mask, though no chinstrap, and has the “IRISH” designation on front and back. Members of the 2011-12 senior class of the squad that carried an 8-5 record have signed in black Sharpie. Included are Matt Mulvey, Gary Gray, Micheal Floyd, David Ruffer and many more.
