This press guide from the 1970-1971 Virginia Squires, who were a basketball franchise from the ABA, features a colorful front cover with the teams logo and Squires players playing on the court. Inside are black and white player photographs along with short player biographies. This was Erving’s rookie year with the Squires and he was the ABA’s best known player. Erving assisted with launching the NBA’s trend-setting, modern style, that highlighted playing above the rim.
