Offered is a look into the history of firearm competitions in the state of Connecticut from the 1950s. Standing just over 13 inches tall, this brass cup trophy with a gun-toting gentleman resting at the top was awarded to one Joseph Pascale in 1958. A metal plate at the base of the trophy reads “CONN. STATE CHAMPION; CLASS E 1958; JOSEPH PASCALE; 96x100.” The vintage brass trophy features two sections of intricate patterned designs and boasts a brown Bakelite base. The trophy remains in strong structural condition with only some tarnish on portions of the brass. The trophy would make for a great addition for firearm or Connecticut historians.
