Lee Harvey Oswald, the infamous sniper who shot and assassinated President
John F. Kennedy, in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. Two days later he himself, was shot, by Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby, while being transferred from police headquarters to the county jail, all while television cameras were broadcasting live.
This original 1957 Arlington Heights High School Yellow Jacket Yearbook shows Oswald smiling in his 10th grade biology class on p. 104 in the upper right corner. The caption below the photo reads, “Bing! You’re hypnotized, says Janet Bolin to Lee Oswald in the old bio lab.” Oswald would only attend Arlington Heights in Fort Worth, Texas for a few weeks before dropping out and joining the Marines soon after. The yearbook shows some wear at the hinges and on the corners.
