Al Jolson, considered one of the greatest entertainers of all time, is pictured here in this 10 x 8 black and white original movie still from "The Singing Kid." Jolson received top billing but played a relatively small role in this 1936 musical with original songs by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, the team who would soon go on to write the score for "The Wizard of Oz."
