Al Sorenson has been painting and drawing since a very young age. Al is a self taught artist with very little formal training who has been greatly influenced by many of the great impressionists with his favorite being Leroy Neiman. Al uses bold, vivid colors to bring a feeling of excitement and energy to his work. His paintings are increasingly becoming some of the most sought after works of art on the market today.

Al’s work has been displayed in the following locations:

-The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York
-The former Sports Museum of America in New York City
-The National Art Museum of Sport (NAMOS) in Indianapolis

- Al created the artwork for the inaugural 2013 New York Open Tennis Tournament
- Al continues to work with the Gale Sayers Foundation creating artwork for their various fundraising efforts
- His work has been featured on FOX news Chicago and in Pro Football Weekly as well as the Chicago Sun-Times and Cleveland Plain Dealer
- Al also did a one on one sit down interview with the MLB network that is featured on MLB.com
- Al’s work is in the private collections of Chicago Hall of Fame athletes Gale Sayers, Richard Dent, and Bobby Hull.
