Maddux almost 20 years Greg Maddux was the most dominant pitcher in the game. His streak of 15 or more wins for 17 straight seasons is one of those records which will never be equaled. Only one pitcher since 1920, Warren Spahn, has more career wins than Maddux and he and Randy Johnson share the record of four consecutive Cy Young Awards. Maddux's complete career of excellence made him a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 2014. During the '02 and '03 season from which this Braves jersey dates to, Maddux won 16 games each year and an ERA of just north of 3.00. This classic white home jersey has the Braves script above the famed tomahawk in red, navy and gold tackle twill. Navy and red piping runs around the collar and down the front as well as around the sleeves. Russell label is sewn in the lower left front tail with added size "46" tagging. The back has "MADDOX" in navy tackle twill letters on a white name plate. The pitcher's number "31" is centered on the back in bright red and navy tackle twill. Maddox has signed the "3" in black Sharpie. Overall the jersey shows great game use with no loose threads or tears. There are turf marks and small pine tar spots visible throughout the piece - a real Hall of Fame gamer! The jersey comes from the collection of Andruw Jones and he has supplied a signed Certificate of Authenticity stating its provenance. Letter of Authenticity from uniform expert Dave Miedema.
