Just 8 months later, Jackie Robinson would break the Major League Baseball color line, signaling the beginning of the end for the Negro Leagues as the top players began migrating to the MLB. This ticket, designating the “National Colored All Star Baseball Classic” at Comiskey Park, is a press ticket tagged as No. 0254.
