Presented here is a stunning vintage photograph of Cy Young and his family posed on the steps of their Ohio farmhouse. The entire Young clan is pictured here, with parents McKinzie Young and Nancy Motmiller sitting in the center. Alonzo “Lon” Young is seated to his father’s right, while Cy is seated on his mother’s left hand side. Siblings Otto, Ella, and Carl are standing behind their parents. All are dressed formally, with solemn expressions gracing their faces. “Lon Young”, “Cy Young”, “Otto Young”, and “Carl Young” has been written in black pen next to the corresponding Young family member. This black and white 8 x 10 photograph has been mounted to a rigid backing. Save for slight wear and tear around the borders and corners, this photograph is in excellent condition.
