Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman broke this Marucci CB15-M model bat during the first inning of his at-bat with San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner. The Giants won this game 4-1 and Freeman’s all-black bat displays excellent use with a large crack on the handle. There are several ball marks and stitch impressions present on the barrel, along with various cleat marks. Freeman’s number “5” is stamped on the knob in white, along with the date of manufacture “02/10/14”. There is a coating of Mota Stick on the handle. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK696438) which authenticates this bat’s use during the first inning at-bat on May 4, 2014.
