Today, the game of baseball is yielding a bumper crop of excellent young shortstops, and Houston Astros superstar Carlos Correa stands out as one of the most talented. The 2015 American League Rookie of the Year, Correa was instrumental in leading the Astros to their first ever World Series title during the 2017 Postseason. Correa experienced his best season as a pro in 2017, making his first career All-Star team and showcasing his rare power for a shortstop (29 home runs in the regular and postseason combined) while consistently putting balls in play for a .315 batting average. The 6’4” native of Puerto Rico is a rangy fielder with a cannon of an arm and the savvy to remain one of baseball’s best players for years to come. 

Correa wore the offered Nike batting gloves during his 2015 Rookie of the Year campaign. The gloves are orange and white, with a silver Nike swoosh logo applied to the top of each palm. A Nike Vapor logo is applied to each wrist strap. The gloves show outstanding use, and Correa has signed each in black marker on the wrist strap.
