Los Angeles Dodgers centerfielder Joc Pederson wore this blue Dodgers batting helmet during his team’s 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on June 7th, 2015. Pederson was the leadoff hitter for the Dodgers during this contest, reaching base once via walk. 2015 was the first full year of MLB service for the California native, and Pederson lived up to his considerable hype by hitting 26 home runs and making the first All-Star team of his career.
This royal blue helmet was worn by Pederson on June 7th and shows outstanding signs of use. It is heavily scuffed, and features several cracks on the crown, vents, and brim. It is a left-handed batting helmet, with the flap over the right ear. Six ventilation vents are present on the crown, and the padding on the inside is fully intact. An “LA” logo decal is applied to the front of the helmet, and Pederson’s number “31”, a MLB logo, and a Dodgers wordmark have been applied to the back of the helmet. “31 Pederson” is written in silver marker on the inside of this size 7 ½ helmet. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 316917), which dates use to the June 7th game.
