Hall of Famer Frank Thomas won the first of his back-to-back American League MVP Awards in 1993 when the “Big Hurt” belted 41 home runs, drove in 128 and batted .317 while leading the Chicago White Sox to the AL Western Division title. Thomas would finish his career as a member of the exclusive 500 Home Run Club with his 521 homers and a lifetime .301 average.

Thomas wore this size 46 Russell Athletic button-down home Chicago White Sox pinstripe jersey during the 1993 season. This jersey features the diagonal “SOX” logo sewn on the upper left chest in black and silver tackle twill. Thomas’ number “35” is sewn on the upper right chest in the same black and silver tackle twill. The back of the jersey only has “35” sewn on in black and silver tackle twill, a clear indicator of this jersey dating to 1993 as the White Sox did not put names on their home jerseys that season. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail, along with a white patch that has “35 THOMAS 1993”. The left sleeve has a “COMISKEY PARK CHICAGO WHITE SOX” patch as 1993 was the first season for the new Comiskey Park. Thomas signed his name in black marker above the “35” on the front of the jersey and inscribed “35”. This jersey displays light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99751) for his signature.
