JULY 19TH AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/20/2013
The ‘86 team was the most exciting team ever fielded by the Mets and the ace of the staff was Dwight Gooden. “Doc” went 17-6 with a 2.84 ERA as the Mets trampled their way to the World Series. The Louisville Slugger K48 shows light use and is uncracked. There are numerous streaks and scuffs from storage on the barrel. Gooden’s number “16” has been written in white ink on the knob and the Mets’ ace has signed the barrel in silver ink. A perfect piece from that memorable summer of ‘86. Two PSA/DNA numbered stickers (1B05327 and U28100) are affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
