Former Boston Red Sox closer Koji Uehara wore this button-down road gray Red Sox jersey when recorded his sixth save of the 2015 season when he retired the Toronto Blue Jays in the bottom of the ninth inning to preserve the Red Sox 6-3 victory on Mother’s Day. Uehara did not allow a hit, allowing only one walk and striking out a batter for the save. This Majestic size 46 Red Sox road jersey features “BOSTON” sewn on in Tuscan lettering in red and navy blue tackle twill. A pink ribbon patch is sewn on the upper left chest. “UEHARA” and “19” are sewn on the back in red and navy blue tackle twill with the Red Sox “two socks” logo patch on the left sleeve. This jersey displays light use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ764808), authenticating this jersey’s use by Uehara on May 10th, 2015.
