This Official 1998 World Series Allan G. Selig baseball has been signed by 22 members of the 1998 World Series champion New York Yankees. The Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre has signed the sweet spot of this ball, while other signatures include Derek Jeter, David Wells, and Scott Brosius on the west panel, Ricky Ledee, Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte, Orlando Hernandez, Chili Davis, David Cone, and Chad Curtis on the south panel, Jeff Nelson, Mike Stanton, Ramiro Mendoza, Bernie Williams, Chuck Knoblauch, and Joe Girardi on the north panel, and Paul O’Neill, Shane Spencer, Graeme Lloyd, Luis Sojo, and Tino Martinez on the east panel. Brosius added the inscription “MVP” while Bernie Williams inscribed “SDG”. The signatures have been written in blue pen. This baseball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
