Two of the best pitchers in baseball in the 1930’s, Carl Hubbell and Lefty Gomez squared off against each other during several World Series games. The Yankees and Giants rivalry continued to grow with Gomez’s Yankees defeating the Giants in back to back World Series in 1936 and 1937. With 16 All-Star appearances between them, both hurlers have plaques hanging in Cooperstown. Hubbell and Gomez both signed this black and white 8x10 photo in black marker before passing away in the late 80’s. Photo has been authenticated by PSA/DNA.
